How does it work?
Fast ForWord® e-learning programs train your brain to process information faster and much more accurately. They are fun, interesting and interactive (and they even adapt to meet your skill level!).
Using your home computer (with internet access) you or your child can work at a time and pace that suits you and ongoing online and ‘phone support is given by your personal tutor, Smart Processing owner, Mary Kidson.
How long does each program take?
For the best results we recommend an eight to 12 week program training for 30 minutes each day, five days a week – so it is possible to see a real difference in just two or three months.
How do I track progress?
We do this for you. Mary monitors each student’s daily progression and results and provides ongoing feedback and guidance to keep your training on track. In addition, an individual progress report is emailed weekly.
How do I get started?
To begin with, Mary will guide you through a brief online assessment (called The Reading Progress Indicator) measuring current auditory processing (reading skill, reading comprehension, phonic awareness, decoding and vocabulary). Mary will then choose a program to deliver the most direct benefit.
How much does it all cost?
There is a small set up fee followed by a monthly tuition fee. To find out more about costs, please call Mary. Support funding through your local LEA, Social Services (Direct Payments) or charities may be available.
